News On 6 App Reviews

Love ch 6, but app has taken steps backward . "Update " keeps popping up, yet there is no update. Also, used to have a great Doppler radar to check out in bad weather. Now just a piece of junk radar that doesnt show squat.

Our Gang here in south Tulsa appreciates KOTVs solid reporting and lack of breathless delivery which we find so koki-e elsewhere on the dial/grid/icon/whatever.

Channel 6 is my favorite station for just about everything. Its the first thing I look at on my iPad every morning. However, the weather app needs to go back to the way it was, and there are so many pop ups that it gets frustrating. You had a great app before, please go back to the way it was.

KOTV is far better than the other local choices, but the writing should be edited for accuracy and completeness. Too often, paragraphs are so poorly written, it is difficult to get the message. Also, important details are frequently omitted. In addition, getting an alert, always leads to nowhere, which can be frustrating.

This app tells me a new version is available. It takes me to the App Store where it says "Open" instead of "Update"... Ive told the developers about this several times but they dont seem too anxious to fix it.

The app is kind of glitchy. Cant open or zoom on documents attached to articles. Its annoying having to watch the same 2-3 videos EVERY time I watch a video. Other than that news on 6 is awesome. The app could just use some work.

Only local news app without the sensationalism every minute...

Ive had this app for several years now & loved it but since the last update video news doesnt play. Its annoying if I want to listen instead of read.

Always keeps me safe during bad weather when my power goes out, I love it!

There are way to many ads, and you cant even read through a story with out it jumping you to a third party website or app in the App Store. This app was way better before they updated it with all this junk! I had to switch the fox 23s app.

I love the notifications of whats happening as it happens both news & weather.

Great app, but I agree with the other user. When its breaking weather and there is an imminent threat, we should not have to watch a commercial!!

I grew up watching another news station . I found out that Ch 6 News is a lot better & covers a lot more news . I would definitely recommend using this app.

I really love the app however it is a little slow in opening. Better than it was though. I wish you would put hour to hour weather in the weather section.

I use the app multiple times per day, but find the "Classic Chevrolet" initial screen when you open it up. Then if that isnt bad enough the ads that are between parts of the story, and at the bottom of the screen. All of the ads are annoying. I would rather pay 99 cents a month if it gets rid of the ads!

The app itself is fairly solid. The iPhone version needs the "Pull down to refresh" capability added to the weather menu options, such as radar and current conditions. It does not automatically refresh the screen from a previous session, thus giving outdated weather conditions.
