News Alerts

I love love the Channel 6 news app but the alerts drive me bonkers! An alert will pop up on my phone and I go to get more info and its not on yet. I realize Channel 6 wants to be the "first" with news but I, as the public, really dont care who is first with an alert. I want the INFORMATION first. Thank you!
